Listen and Obeying God

There are three major points I wanted to get across as we learn to listen and obey the Lord.

1) Listen for God's direction - God speaks to us in many ways. Practice listening.

2) Be open and willing to do what the Holy Spirit tells you to do.

3) We can't walk in fear to do or say something when God asks. We must be obedient to 2 Cor. 5:7 We must "walk by faith and not by sight".

If God is calling you to cross a bridge, do it. Don't worry if it doesn't look steady or if you don't know what is on the other side. Take the step of faith. You might be nervous about it, but If you have peace, you're doing the right thing.
